So much has happened since my last real post. Let's start with one thing at a time.
I am now COMPLETELY finished with my Masters in Education. I Completed my last papers on 12/23 and grades were posted on the 26th. I will say I was very nervous, but ended up doing very well. I did not finished with the GPA I wanted, but I still cleared a 3.0 so I can't complain.
We had our first Norris Family Christmas. On the 24th we headed down to Mechanicsville to celebrate with the Norris'. We had a wonderful time with Grandpa Jimmy, Grandma Vicky, Great-Grams, Uncle Timmy and Aunt Amber, Uncle Matt, Buster, and Lucy. Delaney was totally spoiled by all. It was the start of a great traditional that we will continue for years to come. Christmas morning with opened gifts with our little family. Delaney passed out very quickly after we finished. Later on we went over to Grandma Donna's to celebrate with the Jones' family. Everyone was there, minus Ma Jones due to a back injury. The 26th found us leaving Annapolis at 4:45 a.m. and heading to MI for more Christmas celebrations. The evening we attended a Christmas party at the Hills on First street with Whiting Aunts, Uncles, Gruncles, Graunts, and cousins galore. It was really great to see everyone and of course more presents for Miss D. The 27th found us celebrating, again, at my parents home with just the Jennings family and then later with the entire Jennings' Clan. We had great news, Dave and Tracy are to be wed, Nick and Jennie are FINALLY having a baby, due in August.
Well I think that updates us for now. I am looking forward to starting the New Year with a few less things on my plate and maybe a little more time...let's hope!

I can see the LIGHT!!!
Finally I have come to my LAST week of grad school! I am 6 papers away from being COMPLETELY finished with my Master's Degree. I just need to get through this week and life as I know will change, no school! I'll be able to just be a wife, mother, teacher, and coach. I cannot wait! Now if I can just get all these papers finished, the rest of the Christmas shopping done, cookies made, and bags packed I'll be all good.
Wish me luck!

So far, so good
Delaney started with a new sitter yesterday. I was a little nervous because I was afraid she'd have a bad day and the sitter would change her mind. Lucky for all of us involved she was awesome. I did get a nice and comforting e-mail midday from the sitter saying everything was all good. It helped me very more than I thought it would. When I picked her up she was a little dramatic with me, but overall she was a happy baby.
I was AMAZED at the report the sitter gave me. it had her entire day on it. They did so much. She had circle time, music time, one on one time with the sitter, they went for a walk, napped, had breakfast and lunch, she even told me how much she ate, drank, peed and pooped. I'm so happy and I pray this works out. Plus, I even got to practice early and in just enough time to run onto the pool deck.
21 more shopping days!!!

16 days and counting
Only 16 days of school left until winter break! These next few weeks cannot go by fast enough. I just want to be home with my hubby and baby girl. It seems like I don't get enough time with them. It'll be nice to have a week off to spend as a family. Not to mention heading back to MI to see my family and friends for a belated Christmas celebration
Only 21 days of grad school left! I cannot really and truly wait. Sure the step increase will be nice, but just being done is reward enough. I'm not going to start my PhD until after I get my National Boards. That will not start until the fall of next year so I will have a little tim eoff to be a mom and wife. I will have my APENS test to take in June, but that's just a few weeks of cramming and not years of work.
Hoping this post finds everyone in good health and happy spirits.
BTW, I foudn Delaney standing up in her crib this morning. We hadn't lowered the matteress yet because she coudl only get up to a standing position if we had her sitting up. I guess she figured out how to go from laying down, to sitting, to standing. YIKES!!!

Last Day

Thank goodness today is our last day this week before a few days off. This time is much needed, but as always I have a ton of things going. Yesterday evening after swim practice I started teaching a life guarding class. It runs tonight from 6-10 p.m., after swim practice of course, Wednesday 9-6p and Friday 9-6p. Luckily I have help from Chris and he is teaching the Friday portion and half of Wednesday. That way I can get all the baking down for Thanksgiving on Wednesday afternoon and hang out with Little D.
It sucked not seeing her yesterday evening. By the time I got home she was in bed. Lucky for me was she up a few times during the night because she wasn't feeling so swell. Teething hurts and she wanted to make sure I knew that. Also so I would pay for not being there yesterday evening. This morning of course she was passed out when I left for work, good for daddy he gets to sleep in. I can only hope she'll let me sleep in a little bit tomorrow.
I felt bad for Jim yesterday because she would not crawl for him at all. He had to go back and watch the video from it the day before. I only took like 20 of them and pictures of course. Hopefully I'll figure out how to get them up here soon.
Well off to finish one paper so I'm not super busy finishing all 4 tomorrow. Only 4 more week left of grad school!
I just wanted to thank everyone for all they have done, for the support and love you give. Thank you.

New Blog
So I have to create a new blog since I can no longer access my old and have NO idea what e-mail address I put it under.
Many thing shave happened since my last post on the old site. In time I shall update everyone, but until then, please be understanding. Lots going here, but not enough time. After the holidays I will have completed my Masters so things will FINALLY start to slow down. Doubtful with a crawling infant on our hands.
Hope everyone has a safe family filled Holiday this week.
